Choose What's Happening Now

What would all the do-gooders worry about if suddenly all the bad guys became reformed and the world was at peace? Not that I would mind finding out, but sometimes I have to wonder if we "suffer," or view others as "suffering," simply because we are not being present in the moment, choosing whatever our life looks like right then.

Excellent observation my dear.

It seems our need for suffering may well exceed that for its opposite.

At least that seems the derivative of cultures bent toward external enlightenment.

If you're present in the moment it isn't really suffering at all anyway. Isn't that what they say? Because as one moment passes, another takes its place and the alleged suffering is already in the past.
